【人形浄瑠璃×バレエ】
国指定重要無形民俗文化財にも指定されている初めて淡路人形座浄瑠璃を見たのは昨年でした。
その時即座に、「ここで踊ってみたい、コラボレーションしてみたい」と言う思いに駆られ、可能性に向けて気持ちをお話ししながらついに実現したパフォーマンス。
無事幕をおろすことができました。
最初は、お互いどのような形になるのかあまり想像できませんでした。
作品や公演の流れを打ち合わせし、後は実践でリハーサルの中で変更や改良を加え、殆ど即興でのパフォーマンスでした。
数少ないリハーサルでしたが可能性に限界は無くもっとこうしたい、もっとこうすれば良いのではないか、まさに臨場感ある現場でした。
実際、本番が終わってみないとどのようなパフォーマンスになるかは未知の世界でした。

3作品とも現場でしかできない演出構成で踊りましたが、人形が心ある人間のように感じ、本当に語り合っているようなそんな感覚に陥りました。
生演奏が素晴らしかったです。
もっとこうしたらよかったなぁ…と言う部分もありますので是非又再演、再現出来ればと思います。
満員御礼で迎えてくださった観客の皆様、共演してくださった淡路人形座の皆様、スタッフの方々には心からの感謝申し上げたいと思います。

Ningyo joruri x ballet
Awaji Ningyo-za Joruri, a nationally designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset
Driven by the desire to "dance here and collaborate," this performance was finally realized while discussing our feelings toward the possibilities.
We discussed the work and the flow of the performance, and later made changes and improvements during rehearsals in practice, and the performance was mostly improvised.
Although there were only a few rehearsals, there were no limits to the possibilities.
I danced in a way that could only be done on site, but it felt as if the puppets were human beings with hearts, as if they were really talking to each other.
I hope to be able to perform it again.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the audience for welcoming us to a full house, and to the Awaji Puppet Theater and its staff for performing with us.
